Thanks to some nice moves Haralampi Chanev could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Maksim Ederov however easily saved by the left post. In the 85th minute Anatoli Chukov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maksim Ederov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute ФК Светкавица were awarded a corner. Lozan Lenov went to the cornerflag to take it. After 92 played minutes ФК Светкавица got a freekick which was hit by Rashko Kapitanov. Many of ФК Светкавица's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. ФК Светкавица may have spent more time on the ball, but Newton Heath were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
