Igor Gelovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute of the match, Tzvetomir Merodiyski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Igor Gelovski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rusalka's Igor Gelovski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Rusalka from getting a goal against them. Igor Gelovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tzvetomir Merodiyski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bilyan Dzhurkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nedko Bodurov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrian Vutov made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Mario Hadzhigeorgiev shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Igor Gelovski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nedko Bodurov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Vutov in the 56th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Rusalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ganyo Glavov to maneuver through the defense. Bilyan Dzhurkov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Nedko Bodurov made a huge save. In the 76th match minute, Restricted Area was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toncho Goranchev to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Adrian Vutov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Rusalka defense, Simeon Buranski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Gelovski. The Rusalka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Gelovski should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Rusalka getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ganyo Glavov hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Simeon Buranski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Igor Gelovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simeon Buranski in the 93rd minute of play. Adrian Vutov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
