Levent Dinolov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miro Terziyanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gencho Múzhkarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Куките's zone, Viktor Kitov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antoni Chonkov came out of the goal and Viktor Kitov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute, Boris Papazov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Miro Terziyanov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Levent Dinolov was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radul Pushnikov in the 17th minute of play forced CSKA Rosen's goalkeeper Levent Dinolov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antoni Chonkov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rumen Chulin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. After 21 played minutes CSKA Rosen got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Kitov. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Miro Terziyanov put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Levent Dinolov. Gerasim Horozov's late challenge caught a CSKA Rosen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerasim Horozov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Gerasim Horozov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Куките's Antoni Chonkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rumen Chulin in the 37th minute of play. Gerasim Horozov hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rumen Chulin was the one to do the kick off. Куките's Antoni Chonkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rumen Chulin in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Radul Pushnikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levent Dinolov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Куките getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Boris Papazov hit a great ball. Gencho Múzhkarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antoni Chonkov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rumen Chulin went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 69th minute Gencho Múzhkarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Chonkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Куките's Mincho Petrunov seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mincho Petrunov the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Куките protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mincho Petrunov had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 70 minutes into the game, one of Куките:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave CSKA Rosen a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rafail Rushkarski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Куките's Antoni Chonkov. 3-1. Gerasim Horozov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Levent Dinolov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Куките was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radul Pushnikov to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, CSKA Rosen's Rafail Rushkarski tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gencho Múzhkarov in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antoni Chonkov saved Куките from getting behind. After having played for 99 minutes, Nikola Mitkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSKA Rosen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikola Mitkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that CSKA Rosen were the better team. CSKA Rosen's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
