Inter Milano were furious when Lilcho Chekurov was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Inter Milano! Fotyo Deliverski scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arvo Lehtmäe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Evtim Klyashev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radoy Yordanov having to make a save. Teodor Halvadzhiyski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 29th minute Velyo Gevechanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvo Lehtmäe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arvo Lehtmäe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lyudmil Tishinov, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Teodor Halvadzhiyski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Inter Milano's Teodor Halvadzhiyski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radoy Yordanov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ajax Bobov Dol's zone, Iskren Karidov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radoy Yordanov came out of the goal and Iskren Karidov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Trayko Kabov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radoy Yordanov having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evtim Klyashev to make the kick off. After having played for 59 minutes, Teodor Halvadzhiyski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Milano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodor Halvadzhiyski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ajax Bobov Dol were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Inter Milano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fotyo Deliverski took the corner. After 64 played minutes Ajax Bobov Dol got a freekick which was hit by Penko Dumkov. In the 64th minute, Penko Dumkov fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Arvo Lehtmäe. In the 66th minute, one of Inter Milano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Inter Milano. If Teodor Halvadzhiyski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Velyo Gevechanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lyudmil Tishinov came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arvo Lehtmäe could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Ajax Bobov Dol's Lyudmil Tishinov got a free kick in the 87th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Evtim Klyashev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Milano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evtim Klyashev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 played minutes Ajax Bobov Dol got a freekick which was hit by Evlogi Bratoev. Velyo Gevechanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ajax Bobov Dol were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Inter Milano's much stronger midfield.
