In the 23rdth minute of the game Georgi Voynishki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chupacabra Plovdiv's Trendafil Radinski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sorin Balotă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Skrobanski in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Black Sea's Vaklin Tasev made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Trendafil Radinski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Konrad Barniszke's late challenge caught a Chupacabra Plovdiv's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Konrad Barniszke helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Black Sea getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Konrad Barniszke hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Chupacabra Plovdiv's goal looked a bit too open when Vaklin Tasev came free, but Trendafil Radinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Georgi Voynishki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trendafil Radinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Teofan Torbov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chupacabra Plovdiv's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Sea the free kick. A collision led to Chupacabra Plovdiv getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Teofan Torbov hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Chupacabra Plovdiv's Omurtag Masov got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chupacabra Plovdiv's zone, Vaklin Tasev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trendafil Radinski came out of the goal and Vaklin Tasev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Chupacabra Plovdiv's Serafim Hardalov got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half Black Sea were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Georgi Voynishki to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Totyo Karaivanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Skrobanski scored 1-3 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sorin Balotă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Chupacabra Plovdiv booed when Black Sea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. When Totyo Karaivanov fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Georgi Voynishki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Trendafil Radinski having to make a save. The Chupacabra Plovdiv supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Black Sea's performance. The match ended with a win for Black Sea.
