If Svetlin Istatkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With his leg Levent Dinolov managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Chupacabra Plovdiv's Svetlin Istatkov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Viktor Kitov was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Chupacabra Plovdiv booed when CSKA Rosen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Kitov didn't get a good kick on the ball.
