Arvo Lehtmäe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nacho Zvezdanov went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 20 minutes into the game, Tzvetomir Merodiyski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arvo Lehtmäe. Tzvetomir Merodiyski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Todor Kapralov kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 38 minutes, Tzvetomir Merodiyski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Restricted Area and the Inter Milano players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Tzvetomir Merodiyski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Evtim Klyashev made a precise shot to the right of Nedko Bodurov. Restricted Area's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Tzvetomir Merodiyski made the kick off in the second half. Lilcho Chekurov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Venelin Rochev fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter Milano's protests and gave Venelin Rochev a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Inter Milano fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! In the 69th minute, Inter Milano's Evtim Klyashev dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Arvo Lehtmäe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toncho Goranchev in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Toncho Goranchev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Restricted Area fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Tzvetomir Merodiyski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Arvo Lehtmäe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stoimen Barutchiev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arvo Lehtmäe. Inter Milano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 91st minute Simeon Buranski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvo Lehtmäe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dragan Palyushev during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Inter Milano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragan Palyushev to maneuver through the defense. Tzvetomir Merodiyski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvo Lehtmäe having to interfere. The Restricted Area players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
