The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danail Mustakov got free with Wieslaw Gizynski in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, Trayan Naychev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zahari Pisanov. Ruskovtsu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Trayan Naychev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Markus Clemens hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ruskovtsu's Ganyo Serbezov got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Ivar Smedfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 22 played minutes Pavlikeni got a freekick which was hit by Alexi Butanski. Arso Damov's late challenge caught a Pavlikeni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arso Damov helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ruskovtsu's Arso Damov got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute of the match Markus Clemens sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zahari Pisanov skillfully saved the ball. Stoyne Kadiev kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When Alexi Butanski fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pavlikeni's protests and gave Alexi Butanski a yellow card for diving instead. Zahari Pisanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trayan Naychev in the 40th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danail Mustakov made a kick off. Alexi Butanski struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Zahari Pisanov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivar Smedfeldt went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute, Pavlikeni's Trayan Naychev ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zahari Pisanov. Zahari Pisanov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. After a rather tough play, Ruskovtsu's Velizar Titev got a free kick in the 68th minute. Zahari Pisanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trayan Naychev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 played minutes Ruskovtsu got a freekick which was hit by Arso Damov. After 75 minutes of play, Pavlikeni's Ivar Smedfeldt made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zahari Pisanov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zahari Pisanov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivar Smedfeldt in the 80th minute. After 82 minutes of play, Pavlikeni's Trayan Naychev made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zahari Pisanov was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Ruskovtsu getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Orlin Parpulov hit a great ball. After 89 played minutes Ruskovtsu got a freekick which was hit by Velizar Titev. Zahari Pisanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Clemens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruskovtsu's Zahari Pisanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Ruskovtsu from getting a goal against them. Alexi Butanski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Ruskovtsu's goalkeeper Zahari Pisanov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivar Smedfeldt. Pavlikeni's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
