Nedelcho Durin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nedko Tzikov having to interfere. Dimitar Chuchulkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borimir Evrev in the 19th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Boyan Sahatchiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dimitar Chuchulkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhelyo Zdravev in the 31st minute of play. Zhelyo Zdravev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Koniawo's Borimir Evrev got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zhelyo Zdravev might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dimitar Chuchulkov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zhelyo Zdravev ran back to his position shaking his head. Dimitar Chuchulkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borimir Evrev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Galabin Taslakov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Koniawo's supporters rose to their feet, but Galabin Taslakov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimitar Chuchulkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Andon Kachulev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zhelyo Zdravev to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeri Gilishtarov in the 53rd minute of play forced Koniawo's goalkeeper Nedko Tzikov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Zhelyo Zdravev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimitar Chuchulkov was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Borimir Evrev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dimitar Chuchulkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhelyo Zdravev, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. A collision led to Koniawo getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Spiro Proshev hit a great ball.
