When Ivaylo Vrachovski came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the FK Atletiko-Varna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivaylo Vrachovski couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute Ruslan Nasev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Mentus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Stoycho Tzalev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Bozhin Parpulov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florian Mentus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivaylo Vrachovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, FK Atletiko-Varna's Aadam Vahter got control of the ball when Stoycho Tzalev tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ivaylo Vrachovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Delyan Velikin sped through FC Zagorka's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Florian Mentus. After 44 played minutes FK Atletiko-Varna got a freekick which was hit by Ricky Van Haeght. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Stoimen Borikov made the kick off in the second half. Ivaylo Vrachovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Mentus having to interfere. FK Atletiko-Varna's Aadam Vahter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stoimen Borikov in the 54th minute of play. If Ivaylo Vrachovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivaylo Vrachovski succeeded in the game's 68th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Ruslan Nasev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florian Mentus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Florian Mentus was a little too slow when Ivaylo Vrachovski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-5. Sava Banchev made in the 78th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Galabin Mirazchiyski immediately put the ball in play. In the 84th minute Stoimen Borikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aadam Vahter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Sava Banchev threw the ball into play from the sideline. FK Atletiko-Varna's Anton Damev quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 92 minutes into the match, FK Atletiko-Varna's goal looked a bit too open when Stoimen Borikov came free, but Aadam Vahter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Stoimen Borikov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The FC Zagorka fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FK Atletiko-Varna were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
