Nasko Tomalevski made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Sokol Bogatev sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Slavey Dzhordzhev during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, sokolite varna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slavey Dzhordzhev to maneuver through the defense. If Sokol Bogatev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nasko Tomalevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slavey Dzhordzhev in the 31st minute of the match. Doychin Chenkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hristofor Nokov in the 32nd minute of play. If Karamfil Kitov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hristofor Nokov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Karamfil Kitov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hristofor Nokov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, sokolite varna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yane Yalnúzov to maneuver through the defense. sokolite varna FC's Doychin Chenkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hristofor Nokov in the 63rd minute of play. In the 70th minute, Zuzumani's Hristofor Nokov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Doychin Chenkov. Doychin Chenkov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. In the 75th minute, Slavey Dzhordzhev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karamfil Kitov got free with Doychin Chenkov in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hristofor Nokov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doychin Chenkov having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, sokolite varna FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hristofor Nokov came free, but Doychin Chenkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
