If Kristiyan Gyulmezov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yoto Goryanov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sokol Bogatev's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Bogdan Rafailov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Nedko Nitov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Babiza's supporters rose to their feet, but Nedko Nitov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doychin Chenkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Slavey Dzhordzhev scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yoto Goryanov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Babiza's attentive Nedko Nitov managed to snatch the ball when Nesho Peshunov made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. sokolite varna FC's Doychin Chenkov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save sokolite varna FC from getting a goal against them. Doychin Chenkov came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Babiza's Bogdan Rafailov. But to his dismay, Bogdan Rafailov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After the first half sokolite varna FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Slavey Dzhordzhev made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikifor Bozhilski in the 53rd minute of play forced sokolite varna FC's goalkeeper Doychin Chenkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in sokolite varna FC's zone, Bogdan Rafailov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doychin Chenkov came out of the goal and Bogdan Rafailov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind sokolite varna FC's goalkeeper Doychin Chenkov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yoto Goryanov made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Stoil Pirinski sent off a good shot on target. Doychin Chenkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Rafailov, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The throw-in from Nesho Peshunov in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Babiza's Nedko Nitov. Yoto Goryanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stoil Pirinski in the 80th minute of the match. Babiza's Bogdan Rafailov got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
