The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venelin Tzonkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragan Vardev in the 11th minute of the match. Raycho Parichkov scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denislav Boradzhiev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stoyadin Parlapanov during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Atletik Sofia getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Stoyadin Parlapanov hit a great ball. Raycho Parichkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Dafin Yahlev notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Mushat's Denislav Boradzhiev. Denislav Boradzhiev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raycho Parichkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dafin Yahlev in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denislav Boradzhiev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raycho Parichkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denislav Boradzhiev having to interfere. After the first half FC Atletik Sofia were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raycho Parichkov was the one to do the kick off. Dragan Vardev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denislav Boradzhiev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raycho Parichkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mushat's Denislav Boradzhiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stoyadin Parlapanov in the 63rd minute of play. Dafin Yahlev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Denislav Boradzhiev having to make a save. If Dragan Vardev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Raycho Parichkov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denislav Boradzhiev was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Venelin Tzonkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragan Vardev, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Raycho Parichkov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hristiyan Ranov hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Vlado Fakirov, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Denislav Boradzhiev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raycho Parichkov's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Mirolyub Kalev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mushat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Atletik Sofia the free kick. In the 91st match minute, Mushat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirolyub Kalev to maneuver through the defense. Denislav Boradzhiev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raycho Parichkov in the 94th minute of play. Dafin Yahlev struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Denislav Boradzhiev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Atletik Sofia. Raycho Parichkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Atletik Sofia played a much better game than Mushat and deserved their victory. The Mushat players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
