The referee ignored Barganliy's protests and gave Strahil Ilev a yellow card for diving instead. Yonko Gugov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simeon Bondov in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kurkudzha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Simeon Bondov was slow to take the kick. During this time Barganliy's players had a chance to rest. Barganliy's Genko Panchovski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yonko Gugov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Kurkudzha getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Tzeno Makriev hit a great ball. Bone Vezirski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yonko Gugov having to interfere. In the 21st minute of the match Ignat Tankov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zahari Bozhanski skillfully saved the ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kurkudzha's goalkeeper Yonko Gugov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute Gavril Pechenyakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zahari Bozhanski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Simeon Bondov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barganliy's supporters rose to their feet, but Simeon Bondov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yonko Gugov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simeon Bondov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yonko Gugov having to interfere. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Simeon Bondov sped through Kurkudzha's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yonko Gugov. Gavril Pechenyakov hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The supporters of Kurkudzha booed when Barganliy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Strahil Ilev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Kurkudzha's Ignat Tankov tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute Gavril Pechenyakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zahari Bozhanski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Barganliy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simeon Bondov made a kick off. After 55 minutes, Bozhidar Ivchev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kurkudzha and the Barganliy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zahari Bozhanski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Velimir Momchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bone Vezirski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Velizar Kuyumdzhiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Velimir Momchev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kurkudzha's supporters rose to their feet, but Velimir Momchev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zahari Bozhanski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Velimir Momchev came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Kurkudzha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Velimir Momchev couldn't finish the play. After having played for 74 minutes, Velimir Momchev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kurkudzha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Velimir Momchev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Velimir Momchev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barganliy's Zahari Bozhanski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velimir Momchev in the 82nd minute of play. When Gavril Pechenyakov was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. The supporters of Barganliy booed when Kurkudzha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavril Pechenyakov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bone Vezirski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Yonko Gugov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute Velimir Momchev suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Yonko Gugov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simeon Bondov, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. If Bone Vezirski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Barganliy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kurkudzha.
