After 4 minutes, Yanislav Dikanski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Furtuni and the CSKA Sofia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Panayot Mednikarov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Ancho Srebrev made a huge save. A very nice done corner allowed Darin Stanilov to score against Ancho Srebrev in Furtuni's goal. 2-1 after 31 minutes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Presiyan Morchev in the 35th minute of play forced Furtuni's goalkeeper Ancho Srebrev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manol Kútev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlin Yavashev, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Slavi Kachov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Manol Kútev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Orlin Yavashev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Furtuni's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlin Yavashev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manol Kútev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

CSKA Sofia's Manol Kútev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save CSKA Sofia from getting a goal against them. Iliya Butev in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
