Spectators: 7695 (Terracing: 5772, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 153) The audience thought a goal was coming when Panayot Mednikarov got free with Antoan Kúrpachev in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ilko Todorovski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, CSKA Sofia's goal looked a bit too open when Maksim Kertin came free, but Manol Kútev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manol Kútev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilko Todorovski in the 15th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maksim Kertin in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manol Kútev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Panayot Mednikarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CSKA Sofia's Manol Kútev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilko Todorovski in the 27th minute of play. Antoan Kúrpachev made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Panayot Mednikarov sent off a good shot on target. When Presiyan Morchev came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the CSKA Sofia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Presiyan Morchev couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute, Milyo Stoimchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Ilko Todorovski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Arsenal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 41 minutes into the match, FC Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Presiyan Morchev came free, but Antoan Kúrpachev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Presiyan Morchev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Antoan Kúrpachev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the game, FC Arsenal's Velcho Chokanov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manol Kútev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half FC Arsenal were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Maksim Kertin made the kick off in the second half. Presiyan Morchev might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antoan Kúrpachev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Presiyan Morchev ran back to his position shaking his head. Vancho Elmazov hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 61 played minutes, CSKA Sofia's Tomislav Baykushev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Antoan Kúrpachev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CSKA Sofia reached it. In the 65th minute Maksim Kertin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manol Kútev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th match minute, CSKA Sofia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darin Stanilov to maneuver through the defense. Manol Kútev was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tomislav Iliev. If Panayot Mednikarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panayot Mednikarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoan Kúrpachev having to interfere. Presiyan Morchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Panayot Mednikarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Arsenal's goalkeeper Antoan Kúrpachev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Presiyan Morchev in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antoan Kúrpachev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 85 minutes, Maksim Kertin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Arsenal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maksim Kertin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nesho Madzhov hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, one of CSKA Sofia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CSKA Sofia. Panayot Mednikarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoan Kúrpachev having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Arsenal had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
