The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Vanko Kukushev made the kick off in the second half. FC Ruschuk's Vancho Duparinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Babinov in the 55th minute of play. Zhecho Strandzhev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Temelko Manushev in the 57th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Mladinowo's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Gerchev came free, but Zhecho Strandzhev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Temelko Manushev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. In the 77thth minute of the game Prodan Púkov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Ruschuk's Vancho Duparinov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute, Bobi Garvalov made a precise shot to the right of Zhecho Strandzhev. Mladinowo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bobi Garvalov in the 82nd minute of play forced Mladinowo's goalkeeper Zhecho Strandzhev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mladinowo booed when FC Ruschuk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Temelko Manushev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zhecho Strandzhev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vanko Kukushev went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After 91 played minutes Mladinowo got a freekick which was hit by Anton Babinov. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Ruschuk walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
