Levent Presolski hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, FC Levski Sofia's goal looked a bit too open when Sadri Heper came free, but Samuil Charúkchiev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dencho Durin charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dencho Durin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th match minute, FC Levski Sofia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dencho Durin to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Gogo Arano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuil Charúkchiev. FC Levski Sofia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gogo Arano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 18 played minutes Selishteto got a freekick which was hit by Maksim Parchev. FC Levski Sofia's Stoycho Lesidrenski shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 19th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ettore Feltrin but with some difficulty. The audience was convinced that Sadri Heper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuil Charúkchiev was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sadri Heper in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuil Charúkchiev saved FC Levski Sofia from getting behind. When Levent Presolski fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Levski Sofia's protests and gave Levent Presolski a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes FC Levski Sofia got a freekick which was hit by Levent Presolski. Kuzman Grigoriev kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Levski Sofia's Levent Presolski got a free kick in the 35th minute. After having played for 36 minutes, Gogo Arano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selishteto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Arano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Sadri Heper sped through FC Levski Sofia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Samuil Charúkchiev. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gogo Arano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gogo Arano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venko Mednev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute of the match Stoycho Lesidrenski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ettore Feltrin skillfully saved the ball. Nenko Bonev hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Stoycho Lesidrenski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ettore Feltrin. Selishteto's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Sadri Heper took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Samuil Charúkchiev to make any attempt to save it. When Selishteto's Sadri Heper in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Levski Sofia's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, FC Levski Sofia's Dencho Aladzhov got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 76 minutes, Sadri Heper made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. FC Levski Sofia's Samuil Charúkchiev tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gogo Arano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuil Charúkchiev having to interfere. Samuil Charúkchiev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Arano in the 80th minute of the match. Gogo Arano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Samuil Charúkchiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
