The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stoycho Gelebeshev in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvio Kusko saved THE RED STARS from getting behind. Silvio Kusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svetozar Nedelev in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in THE RED STARS's zone, Svetozar Nedelev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Kusko came out of the goal and Svetozar Nedelev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. THE RED STARS's Silvio Kusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikola Dragnev in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, THE RED STARS's goal looked a bit too open when Nikola Dragnev came free, but Silvio Kusko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ginyo Vúzvúzov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvio Kusko having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, THE RED STARS's goal looked a bit too open when Nikola Dragnev came free, but Silvio Kusko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the THE RED STARS defense, Svetozar Nedelev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvio Kusko. The THE RED STARS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvio Kusko should have stopped the shot. Silvio Kusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikola Dragnev in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, THE RED STARS's goal looked a bit too open when Svetozar Nedelev came free, but Silvio Kusko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, THE RED STARS's goal looked a bit too open when Stoycho Gelebeshev came free, but Silvio Kusko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vlado Trenev ran back to his position shaking his head. Silvio Kusko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svetozar Nedelev, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. If Dimitar Stanev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Sivogushka fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when FC Sivogushka's Svetozar Nedelev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikola Dragnev made a kick off. After 51 played minutes FC Sivogushka got a freekick which was hit by Nikola Dragnev. Radomir Saradzhov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitar Stanev, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in THE RED STARS's zone, Nikola Dragnev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Kusko came out of the goal and Nikola Dragnev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ginyo Vúzvúzov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Kusko having to interfere. Silvio Kusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svetozar Nedelev in the 65th minute of the match. Silvio Kusko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikola Dragnev in the 67th minute. Silvio Kusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svetozar Nedelev in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute Nikola Dragnev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Kusko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Svetozar Nedelev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvio Kusko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After 79 minutes, Stan Stromann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the THE RED STARS and the FC Sivogushka players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Stan Stromann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benislav Shtúrbanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Radomir Saradzhov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The THE RED STARS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Sivogushka's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Sivogushka.
