Belmashite's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kokortsi the free kick. In the 13th minute, Darin Strandzhev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Detelin Modrev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Bandev, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Boris Bandev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Detelin Modrev having to interfere. Grisha Dimolyanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kubrat Pachev having to interfere. Kubrat Pachev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acho Pechenikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Detelin Modrev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Bandev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Lilcho Staroselski fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belmashite's protests and gave Lilcho Staroselski a yellow card for diving instead. Lilcho Staroselski hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Kokortsi's Boris Bandev got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gergin Kúrdzhov in the 39th minute of play forced Belmashite's goalkeeper Detelin Modrev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Belmashite's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Bandev came free, but Detelin Modrev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grisha Dimolyanov kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Todor Belokapov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Detelin Modrev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Boris Bandev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Detelin Modrev having to interfere. Gergin Kúrdzhov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Detelin Modrev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Boris Bandev dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Detelin Modrev, 0-2. Kokortsi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
