Kokortsi's Kubrat Pachev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iliya Kartunov in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Ikonom Kasapski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kubrat Pachev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kubrat Pachev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ikonom Kasapski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Iliya Kartunov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boris Bandev in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofan Balchev saved Kapudzhik from getting behind. Gergin Kúrdzhov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Teofan Balchev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 35 minutes into the game, Boris Bandev recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Teofan Balchev. Boris Bandev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Boris Bandev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofan Balchev having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Gergin Kúrdzhov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kokortsi's supporters rose to their feet, but Gergin Kúrdzhov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofan Balchev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 46 played minutes, Kapudzhik's Violet Hadzhiyski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kubrat Pachev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kapudzhik reached it. Todor Belokapov's late challenge caught a Kapudzhik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Todor Belokapov helped the player get up and apologised. When Kapudzhik's Ikonom Kasapski in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kokortsi's goalie prevented a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boris Bandev to make the kick off. Dobrin Dzhakov's late challenge caught a Kokortsi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dobrin Dzhakov helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes Kapudzhik got a freekick which was hit by Dobrin Dzhakov. After 53 minutes of play, Kokortsi's Boris Bandev made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teofan Balchev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gergin Kúrdzhov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Boris Bandev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boris Bandev struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Teofan Balchev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kokortsi. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kapudzhik fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Benislav Donev walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After having played for 71 minutes, Ikonom Kasapski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kapudzhik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ikonom Kasapski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kubrat Pachev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iliya Kartunov in the 73rd minute of the match. Gergin Kúrdzhov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ikonom Kasapski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Kubrat Pachev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
