Iliya Kartunov struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Detelin Modrev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kapudzhik. In the 16th match minute, Kapudzhik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anatoli Boyadzhiev to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Iliya Kartunov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kapudzhik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Belmashite were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Kapudzhik's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Grigor Kitov took the corner. The corner led Belmashite's Grigor Kitov to fire away a dangerous shot which Teofan Balchev despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Kapudzhik defense, Acho Pechenikov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teofan Balchev. The Kapudzhik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teofan Balchev should have stopped the shot. Ikonom Kasapski might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Detelin Modrev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ikonom Kasapski ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute, Iliya Kartunov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Kapudzhik getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Marko Tzukev hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iliya Kartunov to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Lilcho Staroselski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belmashite's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kapudzhik the free kick. Lilcho Staroselski kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Belmashite's Lilcho Staroselski got his second yellow card of the match in the 60th minute. The referee ordered Lilcho Staroselski off the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viden Gúrgorov in the 65th minute of play forced Kapudzhik's goalkeeper Teofan Balchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ikonom Kasapskis short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Detelin Modrev to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Ikonom Kasapski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Detelin Modrev. That made the score 1-2 in the 76 minute of play. In the 79th minute, Iliya Kartunov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ikonom Kasapski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Detelin Modrev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Kapudzhik could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Belmashite throughout the match.
