After a rather tough play, FK Ronaldo's Antonio Daganov got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ikonom Kasapski took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bocho Draev. Bocho Draev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Kuncho Koshlukov was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 35th minute. FK Ronaldo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 39 minutes, Kuncho Koshlukov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Ronaldo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kuncho Koshlukov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 41 played minutes FK Ronaldo got a freekick which was hit by Valeri Novkov. A collision led to FK Ronaldo getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Kuncho Koshlukov hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ikonom Kasapski in the 47th minute of play forced FK Ronaldo's goalkeeper Bocho Draev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iliya Kartunov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Valeri Novkov notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Kapudzhik's Teofan Balchev. Teofan Balchev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teofan Balchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valeri Novkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofan Balchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuncho Koshlukov, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, FK Ronaldo's goal looked a bit too open when Genadi Tarlyovski came free, but Bocho Draev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lachezar Palashev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Kuncho Koshlukov managed to get in a good position for a shot.
