Belmashite's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matey Belorechki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. FC Barcelona's Stanko Karakolev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viden Gúrgorov in the 25th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, FC Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Elkin to maneuver through the defense. Asparuh Yaninski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Detelin Modrev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Belmashite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grisha Dimolyanov to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Belmashite defense, Matey Belorechki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Detelin Modrev. The Belmashite fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Detelin Modrev should have stopped the shot. Detelin Modrev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asparuh Yaninski in the 41st minute of play. When Boris Protogerov fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Barcelona's protests and gave Boris Protogerov a yellow card for diving instead. Boris Protogerov kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. A collision led to Belmashite getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Grigor Kitov hit a great ball. Darin Strandzhev thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Detelin Modrev, a very annoying self made goal in the 50th minute which led to 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Asparuh Yaninski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when Belmashite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acho Pechenikov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asparuh Yaninski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Detelin Modrev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matey Belorechki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Detelin Modrev having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Asparuh Yaninski in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Detelin Modrev saved Belmashite from getting behind. Matey Belorechki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Detelin Modrev having to interfere. In the 78th minute Asparuh Yaninski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Detelin Modrev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matey Belorechki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asparuh Yaninski in the 83rd minute of play forced Belmashite's goalkeeper Detelin Modrev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
