The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vaklin Chohadzhiev charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vaklin Chohadzhiev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Kounino getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Vaklin Chohadzhiev hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Violet Dormishev in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radoslav Donkovski saved CSKA Balukliy from getting behind. Lyuben Maymarov was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Lilko Lulchev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lilko Lulchev really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Lilko Lulchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyuben Maymarov having to interfere. FC Kounino's Vaklin Chohadzhiev got his second yellow card of the match in the 34th minute. The referee ordered Vaklin Chohadzhiev off the ground. A collision led to FC Kounino getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Vaklin Chohadzhiev hit a great ball. Tzvetelin Krústenyakov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lyuben Maymarov. FC Kounino's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Velislav Shabanov charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Velislav Shabanov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes FC Kounino got a freekick which was hit by Velislav Shabanov. If Zdravko Kilyovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lyuben Maymarov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lilko Lulchev, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kounino's goalkeeper Lyuben Maymarov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lilko Lulchev to make the kick off. Gergin Maslev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Svetlan Matrov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gergin Maslev's late challenge caught a FC Kounino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. FC Kounino's Zdravko Kilyovski got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lyuben Maymarov came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by CSKA Balukliy's Svetlan Matrov. But to his dismay, Svetlan Matrov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 69th minute, Lilko Lulchev made a precise shot to the right of Lyuben Maymarov. FC Kounino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Lilko Lulchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Velizar Kovachev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tzvetelin Krústenyakov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lyuben Maymarov. FC Kounino's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 76th minute, Violet Dormishev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lyuben Maymarov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lilko Lulchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lilko Lulchev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lyuben Maymarov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Plamen Mitzovski charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Plamen Mitzovski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, one of FC Kounino:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Kounino. Gergin Maslev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 91st minute of the match Velislav Shabanov completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Velislav Shabanov a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, FC Kounino's Velislav Shabanov got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, CSKA Balukliy's Tzvetelin Krústenyakov tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Svetlan Matrov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Svetlan Matrov came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the CSKA Balukliy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Svetlan Matrov couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CSKA Balukliy had played much better football throughout.
