Krum Konsulov hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Опълченците defense, Ancho Bogdev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toma Shukerov. The Опълченците fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toma Shukerov should have stopped the shot. Toma Shukerov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ancho Bogdev, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Kayalu FC's Ancho Bogdev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toma Shukerov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Stoyne Bunchev hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Toma Shukerov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ancho Bogdev in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Опълченците booed when Kayalu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ancho Bogdev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miro Donevski took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toma Shukerov. Toma Shukerov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Toma Shukerov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Kayalu FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teofan Demerdzhiev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Опълченците getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Stoyne Bunchev hit a great ball. Toma Shukerov made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ancho Bogdev sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ancho Bogdev in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toma Shukerov saved Опълченците from getting behind. The supporters of Опълченците booed when Kayalu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krasimir Vironov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iliyan Yavrichev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krum Konsulov, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 71st minute of the match, Ancho Bogdev got a very nice opportunity to score, but Toma Shukerov was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Yane Boyadzhov fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kayalu FC's protests and gave Yane Boyadzhov a yellow card for diving instead. 85 minutes into the match, Опълченците's goalkeeper Toma Shukerov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tzvetomir Mehandzhiev. When the final whistle sounded Kayalu FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Опълченците.
