Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nayden Simidchiev to make the kick off. Ancho Bogdev took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filippo Cappucci. After a defensive mix-up in Chelsea FC's zone, Genadi Kortenski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filippo Cappucci came out of the goal and Genadi Kortenski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filippo Cappucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vancho Palahanov in the 72nd minute of play. Filippo Cappucci was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zhelyazko Buzin during the 91st minute.
