Vitan Dzhurov had great luck who in the 12thth minute grab hold of the ball when Evstati Komitski from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 14th minute of the match Galatasaray SK got a corner. FC VASILEND's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The supporters of FC VASILEND booed when Galatasaray SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evrosi Politov didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC VASILEND's Vitan Dzhurov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evstati Komitski in the 69th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Nedko Benkov took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Denko Kishev to make any attempt to save it. Momchil Vatahov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitan Dzhurov having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Galatasaray SK got a freekick which was hit by Borimir Magerov. After some careless play in the Galatasaray SK defense, Nedko Benkov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denko Kishev. The Galatasaray SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denko Kishev should have stopped the shot. When the match was over FC VASILEND could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Galatasaray SK throughout the match.
