Spectators: 7905 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 50) Nedko Benkov started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Toma Shukerov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nedko Benkov in the 3rd minute. Tomislav Kishev made in the 4th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Vesko Velinovski immediately put the ball in play. Dobromir Kenderov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitan Dzhurov having to interfere. Vesko Velinovski hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Nedko Benkov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC VASILEND fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Vesko Velinovski kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Nedko Benkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Tomislav Kishev threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC VASILEND's Venko Zerinov quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The crowd rose to their feet as FC VASILEND's Zhan Shtúrbanov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Toma Shukerov. That made the score 2-0 after 29 minutes of play. Toma Shukerov made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Nedko Benkov sent off a good shot on target. Опълченците's Teofan Demerdzhiev got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Опълченците's zone, Zhan Shtúrbanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toma Shukerov came out of the goal and Zhan Shtúrbanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Toma Shukerov managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when FC VASILEND's Nedko Benkov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Teofan Demerdzhiev made the kick off in the second half. Denimir Maykov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stoyne Bunchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitan Dzhurov having to interfere. Toma Shukerov came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC VASILEND's Denimir Maykov. But to his dismay, Denimir Maykov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Orlin Zagorski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute Denimir Maykov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toma Shukerov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC VASILEND booed when Опълченците was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krum Konsulov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Hristofor Chervenov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Toma Shukerov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nedko Benkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Toma Shukerov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Nedko Benkov came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the FC VASILEND fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nedko Benkov couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nedko Benkov in the 79th minute of play forced Опълченците's goalkeeper Toma Shukerov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute Nedko Benkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toma Shukerov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Опълченците's Toma Shukerov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nedko Benkov in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Denimir Maykov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC VASILEND fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The supporters of FC VASILEND booed when Опълченците was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofan Demerdzhiev didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC VASILEND's Venko Zerinov managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vesko Velinovski in the 92 minute of the game. After 93 played minutes Опълченците got a freekick which was hit by Maksim Ganchev. FC VASILEND's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
