After 19 minutes of play, FC VASILEND's Zhan Shtúrbanov made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brad Friedel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antim Zabunov scored 0-4 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brad Friedel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute, Argir Badelov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Denimir Maykov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Denimir Maykov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brad Friedel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Nedko Benkov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Brad Friedel. That made the score 0-9 in the 80 minute of play. Brad Friedel stood somewhat misplaced when Nedko Benkov came free in front of goal and shot 0-10 to the left of him in the 86 minute. Blackburn Rovers FC's Brad Friedel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Blackburn Rovers FC from getting a goal against them.
