An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Geno Kravaev got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Blackburn Rovers FC's Brad Friedel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svilen Dolapchiev in the 14th minute of play. Kuzman Súrbakov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Brad Friedel made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Blackburn Rovers FC's goalkeeper Brad Friedel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geno Kravaev. Brad Friedel made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Kuzman Súrbakov sent off a good shot on target. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Brad Friedel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. ОФК Поморие's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geno Kravaev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute, Geno Kravaev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brad Friedel was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. In the 64th minute, Svilen Dolapchiev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brad Friedel was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. In the 80th minute, Nedelcho Dichev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Blackburn Rovers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Svilen Dolapchiev came free, but Brad Friedel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Kuzman Súrbakov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
