Dochko Volev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Orlin Zagorski came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Опълченците fans jumped to their feet. Kitka's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Опълченците getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Krum Konsulov hit a great ball. With a little luck, Опълченците's Slaveyko Halov got control of the ball when Radostin Ivanchev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Slaveyko Halov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anton Bekirski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 39 minute of play. Yani Karaslavov kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Peyo Hadzhimitov took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dochko Volev. Dochko Volev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Peyo Hadzhimitov made the kick off in the second half. Maksim Ganchev kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Dochko Volev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlin Zagorski in the 59th minute of the match. Chavdar Pochinkov kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, Kitka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chavdar Pochinkov to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th match minute, Kitka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lyuboslav Ribarov to maneuver through the defense. Krum Konsulov came free in the 86th minute and tried to tip the ball over Dochko Volev, but to the joy of Kitka's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Radostin Ivanchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slaveyko Halov having to interfere. Slaveyko Halov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delcho Pamukchiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kitka's Dochko Volev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Kitka from getting a goal against them. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
