A hard shot 15 in the game by Nayden Simidchiev from a close distance when the talented Rolf Andberg managed to make a qualified save. Everton F.C.'s players were relieved. Chelsea FC's Avgustin Trichkov got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolf Andberg made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Nayden Simidchiev sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute Toma Angelski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolf Andberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Nayden Simidchiev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A nice corner shot did that Temelko Smochevski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolf Andberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nayden Simidchiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Andberg having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zdravko Chelibeev was the one to do the kick off. Nayden Simidchiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Everton F.C.'s Zdravko Chelibeev got a free kick in the 57th minute. Rolf Andberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nayden Simidchiev in the 58th minute of the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Nayden Simidchiev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelsea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nayden Simidchiev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nayden Simidchiev came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Chelsea FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nayden Simidchiev couldn't finish the play. Rolf Andberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nayden Simidchiev in the 68th minute of the match. Everton F.C.'s Rolf Andberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhelyazko Buzin in the 73rd minute of play. Zhelyazko Buzin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 2-0 became the score in the 78th minute when Zhelyazko Buzin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nayden Simidchiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Rolf Andberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Zhelyazko Buzin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelsea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zhelyazko Buzin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolf Andberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
