Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC VASILEND's Kalin Ralchevski started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hristofor Chervenov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stoil Zachev having to make a save. When Hristofor Chervenov came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the FC VASILEND fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hristofor Chervenov couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denimir Maykov in the 17th minute of play forced Belasitsa's goalkeeper Stoil Zachev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, FC VASILEND's goal looked a bit too open when Kostadin Bunchev came free, but Vitan Dzhurov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Denimir Maykov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stoil Zachev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Belasitsa's Sava Lipev got a free kick in the 27th minute. FC VASILEND's Rashko Krotev got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Kalin Ralchevski made a precise shot to the right of Stoil Zachev. Belasitsa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Denimir Maykov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Stoil Zachev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kostadin Gyudurov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC VASILEND's Vitan Dzhurov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save FC VASILEND from getting a goal against them. Denimir Maykov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stoil Zachev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. With a little luck, FC VASILEND's Vitan Dzhurov got control of the ball when Kostadin Bunchev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vitan Dzhurov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slavey Pedev, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Vitan Dzhurov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petyo Kaldarúmov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes Belasitsa got a freekick which was hit by Anko Shiyankov.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Slavey Pedev made a kick off. Hristofor Chervenov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 61st minute of the match, Kalin Ralchevski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stoil Zachev was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nedko Benkov hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute Slavey Pedev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitan Dzhurov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC VASILEND's Kalin Ralchevski got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC VASILEND's Vitan Dzhurov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostadin Bunchev in the 78th minute of play. Stoil Zachev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kalin Ralchevski in the 79th minute of play. Stoil Zachev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denimir Maykov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stoil Zachev was a little too slow when Denimir Maykov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-4. Denimir Maykov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stoil Zachev having to interfere. Dimo Kulikov hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Kalin Ralchevski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC VASILEND's supporters rose to their feet, but Kalin Ralchevski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stoil Zachev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded FC VASILEND left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Belasitsa.
