The crowd rose to their feet as Ashiklari's Krum Erenditzov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Serafim Darkov. That made the score 1-1 after 18 minutes of play. Rafail Vulov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Serafim Darkov made a huge save. Blagoy Pisarov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrey Stamov in the 39th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Krum Erenditzov to make the kick off. Ashiklari's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Andrey Stamov scored to the left of an out of position Blagoy Pisarov, making the score, 1-2. 54 minutes into the match, Velimir Muratovski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Blagoy Pisarov, 1-3. A collision led to Ashiklari getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Tihomir Salmov hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Ashiklari's goalkeeper Blagoy Pisarov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrey Stamov. When Tihomir Salmov was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. Tihomir Salmov hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Velimir Muratovski charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 90th match minute, Ashiklari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svetlin Koynarski to maneuver through the defense. When Rafail Vulov fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ashiklari's protests and gave Rafail Vulov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th match minute, Ashiklari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafail Vulov to maneuver through the defense. Blagoy Pisarov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veliko Zimbilev in the 95th minute of the match. Velimir Muratovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
