FC Seksaginta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ashiklari the free kick. Doncho Kisyov kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafail Vulov in the 7th minute of play forced FC Seksaginta's goalkeeper Darin Albachki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes Ashiklari got a freekick which was hit by Svetlin Koynarski. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Tihomir Salmov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ashiklari's supporters rose to their feet, but Tihomir Salmov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darin Albachki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Doncho Kisyov was shown his second yellow card after 23 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Ashiklari booed when FC Seksaginta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doncho Kisyov didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ashiklari's Rafail Vulov, in the 27th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ashiklari. After a rather tough play, FC Seksaginta's Manol Karchev got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 30 minutes, Rafail Vulov made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Seksaginta's Darin Albachki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Darin Albachki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafail Vulov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafail Vulov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Darin Albachki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rafail Vulov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tzocho Shenev to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Ashiklari's goal looked a bit too open when Tzocho Shenev came free, but Blagoy Pisarov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Svetlin Koynarski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Darin Albachki, 0-2. In the 63rd match minute, FC Seksaginta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dochko Dungarov to maneuver through the defense. Darin Albachki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krum Erenditzov in the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ashiklari's Svetlin Koynarski got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 73rd minute, Tihomir Salmov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Darin Albachki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krum Erenditzov, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Bozhko Shoshev lost his temper 97 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 97 minutes into the game, one of FC Seksaginta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 100 minutes, Ashiklari's Krum Erenditzov got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Darin Albachki.
