Spectators: 7938 (Terracing: 6029, Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 60) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Slavyan Fasulkov took the kick off in the first half of the match. Svetlin Bekyarov hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Sultanzi's Martin Dzhalev got control of the ball when Slavey Sagaev tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute Radostin Stanchov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirk Jan Hoogsteen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Slavyan Fasulkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Jan Hoogsteen having to interfere. Dirk Jan Hoogsteen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iliya Stanoychev in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Slavyan Fasulkov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dirk Jan Hoogsteen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dirk Jan Hoogsteen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iliya Stanoychev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slavyan Fasulkov in the 25th minute of play forced FC Neftochimic's goalkeeper Dirk Jan Hoogsteen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Neftochimic's Dirk Jan Hoogsteen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iliya Stanoychev in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Filip Sedlarski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Neftochimic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sultanzi the free kick. After 27 played minutes FC Neftochimic got a freekick which was hit by Filip Sedlarski. Slavyan Fasulkov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dirk Jan Hoogsteen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yanaki Kolov got free with Martin Dzhalev in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39thth minute of the game Iliya Stanoychev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Neftochimic's Dirk Jan Hoogsteen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dirk Jan Hoogsteen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iliya Stanoychev, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half Sultanzi were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yanaki Kolov made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Sultanzi got a freekick which was hit by Svetlin Bekyarov. 63 minutes into the game, Iliya Stanoychev recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dirk Jan Hoogsteen. Iliya Stanoychev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, FC Neftochimic's Yanaki Kolov got a free kick in the 66th minute. Martin Dzhalev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yanaki Kolov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Neftochimic booed when Sultanzi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sava Barzov didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Neftochimic's Dirk Jan Hoogsteen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save FC Neftochimic from getting a goal against them. Yanaki Kolov's late challenge caught a Sultanzi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yanaki Kolov helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Neftochimic getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Yanaki Kolov hit a great ball. Dirk Jan Hoogsteen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iliya Stanoychev in the 79th minute. Iliya Stanoychev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Dirk Jan Hoogsteen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Iliya Stanoychev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sultanzi were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after FC Neftochimic's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Slavyan Fasulkov took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Slavyan Fasulkov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dirk Jan Hoogsteen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sava Barzov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Svetlin Ignatiev during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
