Thanks to some nice moves Ignat Kyushev could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Simo Tabandzhov however easily saved by the left post. Miroslav Gaydov's late challenge caught a GATE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miroslav Gaydov helped the player get up and apologised. 11 minutes into the match, Zlatan Dyulgerov notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Drogan's Simo Tabandzhov. Simo Tabandzhov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Ignat Kyushev came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the GATE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignat Kyushev couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Drogan getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Daniel Karchev hit a great ball. Simo Tabandzhov was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Elias Quijada capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elias Quijada really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Neycho Prashkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Christian Oporto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Oporto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Karchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Elias Quijada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simo Tabandzhov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simo Tabandzhov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Quijada in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignat Kyushev in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simo Tabandzhov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Simo Tabandzhov managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when GATE's Ignat Kyushev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Quijada in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simo Tabandzhov saved Drogan from getting behind. Bogomil Slanchev kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Omurtag Dzhendov kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Quijada in the 57th minute of play forced Drogan's goalkeeper Simo Tabandzhov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neycho Prashkov in the 60th minute of play forced GATE's goalkeeper Christian Oporto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Elias Quijada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simo Tabandzhov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Elias Quijada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Simo Tabandzhov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 66 minutes into the match, Drogan's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Quijada came free, but Simo Tabandzhov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Elias Quijada made a precise shot to the right of Simo Tabandzhov. Drogan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Simo Tabandzhov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignat Kyushev, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
