When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Elias Quijada put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dirk Jan Hoogsteen. GATE's Christian Oporto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save GATE from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Quijada in the 10th minute of play forced FC Neftochimic's goalkeeper Dirk Jan Hoogsteen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dirk Jan Hoogsteen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Quijada's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignat Kyushev in the 13th minute of play forced FC Neftochimic's goalkeeper Dirk Jan Hoogsteen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, GATE's Christian Oporto got control of the ball when Yanaki Kolov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Prokopi Gerov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Yanaki Kolov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erbatur Peyami kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Slavey Sagaev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Neftochimic's Slavey Sagaev got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Erbatur Peyami charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erbatur Peyami the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Erbatur Peyami hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Dirk Jan Hoogsteen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignat Kyushev in the 41st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prokopi Gerov during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of GATE booed when FC Neftochimic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prokopi Gerov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Ignat Kyushev made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC Neftochimic booed when GATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svetoslav Legomanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dirk Jan Hoogsteen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignat Kyushev in the 54th minute. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Yanaki Kolov sped through GATE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christian Oporto. Thanks to some nice moves Ignat Kyushev could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Dirk Jan Hoogsteen however easily saved by the left post. In the 67th minute Yanaki Kolov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Oporto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Ignat Kyushev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Svetoslav Legomanov fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GATE's protests and gave Svetoslav Legomanov a yellow card for diving instead. Svetoslav Legomanov kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Svetlozar Strelkov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Oporto having to make a save. Dirk Jan Hoogsteen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Quijada, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 85 minutes into the match, GATE's goal looked a bit too open when Yanaki Kolov came free, but Christian Oporto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
