The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 18 minutes into the game, Presiyan Roglev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 23rd minute, Nikolay Karapetrov fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Svetozar Angelovski, passed just outside the right post. Presiyan Roglev hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, CSKA Dec's Boris Shalev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Svetozar Angelovski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Svetozar Angelovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikolay Karapetrov in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Nikolay Karapetrov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Svetozar Angelovski. If Boris Shalev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dragolyub Benkovski in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Svetozar Angelovski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lozan Gladnishki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svetozar Angelovski having to interfere. Penko Tyutyundzhiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Pavel Vitanski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nikolay Karapetrov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Gruyo Lambov managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSKA Dec's supporters rose to their feet, but Gruyo Lambov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Svetozar Angelovski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Yoncho Halembakov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the game, Nikolay Karapetrov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Svetozar Angelovski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Svetozar Angelovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gruyo Lambov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Boris Shalev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nikolay Karapetrov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
