Spectators: 5857 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1832, VIP seats: 25) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexey Spahiyski started the match with the kick off. Radko Pozharliev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belcho Totev, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, Albert Lambrinov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Cavaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Valeri Potzkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Leonel Cavaco put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Valeri Potzkov. Leonel Cavaco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valeri Potzkov having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Ruzhevo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Minko Klinkov to maneuver through the defense. Valeri Potzkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zanko Randev in the 23rd minute of the match. Tottenham Hotspur F.C.'s Leonel Cavaco got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the game, Alexey Spahiyski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Radko Pozharliev. Alexey Spahiyski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Radko Pozharliev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexey Spahiyski went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Leonel Cavaco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valeri Potzkov having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Zanko Randev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tottenham Hotspur F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Zanko Randev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valeri Potzkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zanko Randev in the 43rd minute of play forced Ruzhevo's goalkeeper Valeri Potzkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zanko Randev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Zanko Randev made the kick off in the second half. Nesho Yakovov's late challenge caught a Tottenham Hotspur F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nesho Yakovov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute of the match Pencho Bosnev sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valeri Potzkov skillfully saved the ball. In the 61st minute Zanko Randev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valeri Potzkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Dimitar Vladimirov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute of the match Pencho Bosnev shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valeri Potzkov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Leonel Cavaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belcho Totev's late challenge caught a Tottenham Hotspur F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Belcho Totev helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tottenham Hotspur F.C. booed when Ruzhevo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belcho Totev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ruzhevo's Belcho Totev got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 73rd minute, Leonel Cavaco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Zanko Randev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 minutes, Velimir Chipev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ruzhevo and the Tottenham Hotspur F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Valeri Potzkov, was totally fooled by Tottenham Hotspur F.C.'s Pencho Bosnev, who 81 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Leonel Cavaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tottenham Hotspur F.C.'s Zanko Randev got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd match minute, Tottenham Hotspur F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zanko Randev to maneuver through the defense. Velimir Chipev was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Velimir Chipev kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Alexey Spahiyski made a precise shot to the right of Radko Pozharliev. Tottenham Hotspur F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Many of Tottenham Hotspur F.C.'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Tottenham Hotspur F.C. may have spent more time on the ball, but Ruzhevo were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
