After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Alexey Borimechkov managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSKA Rovina's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexey Borimechkov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vassilis Argyrakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anton Mihov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Vassilis Argyrakis made a huge save. CSKA Rovina's Slavey Kúrkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Menjivar in the 33rd minute of play. Kuncho Chaev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Argyrakis having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

CSKA Rovina's Slavey Kúrkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliverios Ribeiro in the 55th minute of play. Slavey Kúrkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Menjivar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Ramiro Novaes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 78th minute Oliverios Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slavey Kúrkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes Металург got a freekick which was hit by Anton Rudarski. Kuncho Chaev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Vassilis Argyrakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Металург getting a freekick after 94 minutes play.
