After having played for 40 minutes, Kalin Pangarov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NIKOLA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kalin Pangarov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Frutos in the 42nd minute of play forced FC Knjeza's goalkeeper Temelko Kumchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Krasen Hadzhistefanov came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the NIKOLA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krasen Hadzhistefanov couldn't finish the play. If Yane Bedzhev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Donyo Kusev charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 83rd play minute Krasen Hadzhistefanov came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Temelko Kumchev. 0-3. The referee felt a red card was in order, 87 minutes into the game, when Varban Sinigerov put in a rough tackle. The supporters of NIKOLA FC booed when FC Knjeza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Varban Sinigerov didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Knjeza's Temelko Kumchev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Knjeza from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute of the match Nacho Golev shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Temelko Kumchev showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded NIKOLA FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Knjeza.
