After having played for 8 minutes, Spas Kavrúkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Greens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Spas Kavrúkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 13 played minutes The Greens got a freekick which was hit by Gavril Gerginski. Vasko Mandev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Spas Kavrúkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Edvin Åman's late challenge caught a The Greens's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edvin Åman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of The Greens booed when AC Red Bull Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tzenko Telbizov didn't get a good kick on the ball. AC Red Bull Stars's Vasko Mandev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zahari Orlov in the 39th minute of play. Lilko Patrashkov scored 0-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vasko Mandev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Lilko Patrashkov in the 55th minute of play forced AC Red Bull Stars's goalkeeper Vasko Mandev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Zahari Orlov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pendekar Bödör received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Velcho Kandilarov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Velcho Kandilarov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pendekar Bödör, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. AC Red Bull Stars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Greens the free kick. After 73 played minutes AC Red Bull Stars got a freekick which was hit by Asen Radoychev. Spas Kavrúkov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vasko Mandev having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, 肖霖南 managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Red Bull Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but 肖霖南 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Velcho Kandilarov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerasim Deynov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Greens's Velcho Kandilarov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pendekar Bödör in the 90th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Gerasim Deynov managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Red Bull Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerasim Deynov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Velcho Kandilarov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, The Greens's Vasko Mandev threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lilko Patrashkov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vasko Mandev was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Lilko Patrashkov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lilko Patrashkov really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4.
