Zhecho Vidulov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristi Cicortaș, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Medero Arraz put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Zhecho Vidulov. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristi Cicortaș in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zhecho Vidulov saved Левски София 1914 from getting behind. Anzhelo Danchev hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. José Maria da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Левски София 1914's Zhecho Vidulov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Medero Arraz in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of FC CORK CITY booed when Левски София 1914 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dilyan Vezirski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Medero Arraz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zhecho Vidulov. Левски София 1914's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Medero Arraz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sasho Vúlnarov to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristi Cicortaș succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Cristi Cicortaș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Zhecho Vidulov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Medero Arraz came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the FC CORK CITY fans jumped to their feet. Yuli Kúrpachev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Siim Übi having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Левски София 1914's zone, Cristi Cicortaș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zhecho Vidulov came out of the goal and Cristi Cicortaș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zhecho Vidulov was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Medero Arraz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Medero Arraz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. In the 78th minute Cristi Cicortaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhecho Vidulov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristi Cicortaș in the 82nd minute of play forced Левски София 1914's goalkeeper Zhecho Vidulov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute Medero Arraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhecho Vidulov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zhecho Vidulov didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC CORK CITY's Medero Arraz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-7 in the ordered_time% minute. With splendid footwork Medero Arraz arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-8 by the left pole in the game's 96th minute.
