The ball had pretty good speed, but Doncho Manaskov firmly grabbed it by the left post. Subin Alichkov's late challenge caught a MANCHESTER UNITED's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Subin Alichkov helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of MANCHESTER UNITED booed when Vidrare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danail Humbadzhiev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vidrare's zone, Gelu Dragomir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. When Subin Alichkov came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Vidrare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Subin Alichkov couldn't finish the play. Doncho Manaskov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elbert Gudov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doncho Manaskov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luan Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Doncho Manaskov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that MANCHESTER UNITED were the better team. MANCHESTER UNITED's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
