Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tzonko Mutafov kicked off to start the match. When Zhivko Derventski came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Manchester United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhivko Derventski couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antoni Kravaev during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Manchester United booed when CSKA Rusenovtsi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Kravaev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 minutes, Radul Koshlukov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester United and the CSKA Rusenovtsi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Radul Koshlukov got a free kick in the 12th minute. Manchester United's Tenyo Petleshkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arso Kaytazov in the 21st minute of play. Tzonko Mutafov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Bozhidar Vladislavov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Trayan Karaspasov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bozhidar Vladislavov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tzonko Mutafov in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Tzonko Mutafov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tzonko Mutafov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CSKA Rusenovtsi's Bozhidar Vladislavov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darin Filchovski in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arso Kaytazov was the one to do the kick off. Manchester United's Tenyo Petleshkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arso Kaytazov in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Manchester United booed when CSKA Rusenovtsi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Kravaev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tzonko Mutafov made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 58thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Bozhidar Vladislavov would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Bozhidar Vladislavov came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester United's Tzonko Mutafov. But to his dismay, Tzonko Mutafov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tzonko Mutafov did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Bozhidar Vladislavov 62 minutes into the match. Darin Filchovski's late challenge caught a CSKA Rusenovtsi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darin Filchovski helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Manchester United got a freekick which was hit by Darin Filchovski. Bozhidar Vladislavov was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Zhivko Derventski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zhivko Derventski really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Tzonko Mutafov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Bozhidar Vladislavov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arso Kaytazov hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhivko Derventski in the 82nd minute of play forced CSKA Rusenovtsi's goalkeeper Bozhidar Vladislavov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, CSKA Rusenovtsi's Bozhidar Vladislavov got control of the ball when Tzonko Mutafov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Biser Yanyov to maneuver through the defense. If Petar Gorolomov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
