Spiro Vutov charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Spiro Vutov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, MANCHESTER UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Spiro Vutov to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Beloslav Demirev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evlogi Cheshmedzhiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Zhecho Vidulov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elbert Gudov made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Luan Velloso put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Zhecho Vidulov. Anzhelo Danchev hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Gelu Dragomir was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evlogi Cheshmedzhiev in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zhecho Vidulov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute, Sasho Vúlnarov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The MANCHESTER UNITED fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when MANCHESTER UNITED's Elbert Gudov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sasho Vúlnarov got free with Helmut Kunze in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute, Evlogi Cheshmedzhiev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Kristian Harrit blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zhecho Vidulov having to make a save. When Elbert Gudov came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the MANCHESTER UNITED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elbert Gudov couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the game, Dilyan Vezirski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zhecho Vidulov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MANCHESTER UNITED. In the 96thth minute of the game Elbert Gudov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Левски София 1914's Zhecho Vidulov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Левски София 1914 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MANCHESTER UNITED.
