FC Goveni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester United the free kick. After 17 played minutes FC Goveni got a freekick which was hit by Karamfil Danailov. Tenyo Petleshkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panayot Dyankov, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Tenyo Petleshkov acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Panayot Dyankov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yane Nakov in the 24th minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Tenyo Petleshkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darin Filchovski in the 25th minute of play forced FC Goveni's goalkeeper Adalbert Evdokiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yasen Vasilevski hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Simeon Klisurov kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Goveni's goalkeeper Adalbert Evdokiev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 35 minutes of play, FC Goveni's Karamfil Danailov made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tenyo Petleshkov was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Simeon Klisurov fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Goveni's protests and gave Simeon Klisurov a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice moves Boris Nachev could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Tenyo Petleshkov however easily saved by the left post. Tenyo Petleshkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karamfil Danailov in the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tzonko Mutafov to strike the kick off in the second half. Adalbert Evdokiev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhivko Derventski in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, FC Goveni's Adalbert Evdokiev got control of the ball when Tzonko Mutafov tried to sneak it across the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Panayot Dyankov came free, but Tenyo Petleshkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, FC Goveni's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tzonko Mutafov fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 87th minute, Panayot Dyankov made a precise shot to the right of Tenyo Petleshkov. Manchester United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 94th minute of the match FC Goveni got a corner. Manchester United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Panayot Dyankov ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on FC Goveni's corner Panayot Dyankov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tenyo Petleshkov quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Goveni had won after a very even match.
