In the 8thth minute of the game Magne Hansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manchester United's Tenyo Petleshkov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tenyo Petleshkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magne Hansson in the 10th minute of play. With 11 minutes on the clock, Vlastimil Kresta commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of AC Red Bull Stars:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Manchester United:s goal. The referee gave Manchester United a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Biser Yanyov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AC Red Bull Stars's Vasko Mandev. 1-0. In the 19th minute Pendekar Bödör shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tenyo Petleshkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tenyo Petleshkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magne Hansson in the 28th minute of play. After 34 played minutes Manchester United got a freekick which was hit by Biser Yanyov. After 36 played minutes Manchester United got a freekick which was hit by Maksim Karaneshev. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester United's zone, Filcho Golemanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tenyo Petleshkov came out of the goal and Filcho Golemanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Magne Hansson came free, but Tenyo Petleshkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match AC Red Bull Stars got a corner. Manchester United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filcho Golemanov ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Filcho Golemanov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tenyo Petleshkov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. AC Red Bull Stars's Magne Hansson got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vasko Mandev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhivko Derventski in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Manchester United's Tenyo Petleshkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stiliyan Kiselichkov in the 51st minute of play. Pendekar Bödör scored 2-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tenyo Petleshkov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vasko Mandev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darin Filchovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AC Red Bull Stars's Stiliyan Kiselichkov got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, AC Red Bull Stars's Stiliyan Kiselichkov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tenyo Petleshkov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tenyo Petleshkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magne Hansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Pendekar Bödör was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. AC Red Bull Stars's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 84 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goalkeeper Tenyo Petleshkov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magne Hansson. In the 84th match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maksim Karaneshev to maneuver through the defense. Pendekar Bödör might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tenyo Petleshkov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pendekar Bödör ran back to his position shaking his head. If Magne Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Magne Hansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AC Red Bull Stars had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
